The Community Worker will report to the Directing Attorney and will be supporting the Rural Justice Unit through initial screenings for eligibility, interview to determine the nature of the legal problem/s and to identify the type of legal assistance being sought by the applicants. They will also engage in field inspections and conducting regular community education and outreach.

AWP - Regional Director of Advocacy (Regular, Full Time, Exempt)

The CRLA Agricultural Worker Program is seeking a Regional Director of Advocacy (RDA) who will lead counseling and co-counseling of major litigation, supervision of program staff, training and coordination of task forces or work/team groups. The Regional Director of Advocacy must have experience in advocacy and management including; supervision, mentoring of staff advocacy efforts, litigation, negotiation, legislative, administrative advocacy and community education. The Regional Director of Advocacy supervises and evaluates AWP staff (as assigned), to ensure implementation and monitoring of approved field office work plans and advocacy are met.

The Immigration Practice Legal Director will be responsible for shaping and growing the organization’s Immigration practice and its’ vision, direction, and initiatives throughout California.  This includes the delivery of high-quality legal services and, as a subject matter expert, the development of immigration expertise throughout the organization.  This role will work in close collaboration with CRLA’s leadership team members and designated advocates throughout the state.
