More Ways to Support CRLA

Give Monthly

Your monthly gift supports justice for all in rural California by providing recurring, reliable support for our work. Even a small monthly gift can make a big impact!

Please visit our donation page and select “Recurring Donation” when making your gift, or call our Development Department at (510) 267-0762 ext. 1005 to sign up by phone.

Make a Legacy Gift

Remembering CRLA in your estate with a planned gift is a meaningful way to leave a legacy of justice.

CRLA Legacy Donors span a range of ages and circumstances, and there are many ways to structure your planned gift, including:

  • bequests
  • life income gifts
  • retirement plan or life insurance beneficiary designations

Please contact our Development team at (510) 267-0762 ext. 1005 to discuss your goals.

Nominate CRLA for a Cy Pres Award

CRLA welcomes nominations for cy pres awards. Cy pres ("next best use" in Latin) awards allow unclaimed settlement funds from class-action lawsuits to be distributed to organizations that are most likely to benefit or pursue the interests of the class. Attorneys can nominate CRLA for cy pres awards.

Learn more and see recent cy pres nominators here.

Volunteer and Pro Bono

In rural California, there is only one attorney for every 27,000 people who qualify for legal aid.

Pro bono literally means "for the good." For the good of our state and the health of our communities, we need attorneys like you to work with us and close the justice gap.

Learn more about pro bono work with CRLA here.

Not an attorney but still want to volunteer your time and skills? Our offices welcome volunteer support of all kinds.
