Community Worker - El Centro

Reporting to the Directing Attorney, the Community Worker will perform initial screenings for eligibility, interviews to determine the nature of the legal problem/s and to identify the type of legal assistance being sought by the applicants.

Staff Attorney - Madera

Directing Attorney - Stockton

This Directing Attorney is a unique leadership opportunity for an attorney committed to community-centered advocacy to lead a team in providing services to marginalized rural communities. The Directing Attorney is responsible for developing the office’s advocacy vision and tone and leading their team of Staff Attorneys, Community Workers, and legal support team members in delivering high-quality legal services commensurate with that vision. The Directing Attorney has substantive command of at least one of CRLA’s Priority Advocacy areas and is responsible for maintaining their own caseload in addition to their leadership role.

Administrative Legal Secretary - Stockton

The Administrative Legal Secretary (ALS) manages all communications, correspondence, typing legal documents, filing, travel, calendar, and general organizational matters within the local office. Also responsible for managing legal expenditures, coordinating litigation with outside counsel and preparing discovery, maintaining/organizing records of litigated and transaction matters, and vendor, supplier, and other office contracts.

ERAP & Housing Community Worker - El Centro

Reporting to the Directing Attorney/Managing Attorney, the Community Worker will perform initial screenings for eligibility, interviews to determine the nature of the legal problem/s and identify the type of legal assistance sought by the applicants.

Supervising Litigation Attorney - Tenant Justice Project (Northern CA)

Marysville, Stockton, and Modesto
Reporting to the Tenant Justice Project Director, the Supervising Litigation Attorney will provide comprehensive legal services to eligible clients in CRLA priority areas in accordance with CRLA program guidelines, the ABA Standards for Providers of Civil Legal Services, and the Code of Professional Responsibility.

Reporting to the Directing Attorney or Program Legal Director, the Staff Attorney provides comprehensive legal services to eligible clients in CRLA priority areas in accordance with CRLA program guidelines, the ABA Standards for Providers of Civil Legal Services, and the Code of Professional Responsibility.

Legal Secretary - Tenant Justice Project

Reporting to the Tenant Justice Project Director, the Legal Secretary will draft legal documents, file, maintain records and perform a variety of secretarial duties for the project.
