Staff Attorney

Reporting to the Directing Attorney, the Staff Attorney provides comprehensive legal services to eligible clients in CRLA priority areas in accordance with CRLA program guidelines, the ABA Standards for Providers of Civil Legal Services, and the Code of Professional Responsibility.

Know Your Rights: Eviction

Under California law, the only lawful way to evict a tenant is to file a case in court.

As a tenant, you have a right to remain in your home until a court orders you to move out.
